| u right at first point but ur wrong at second 1 because if u put some1 with rifened gears fighting some1 using good the 1 with rifened will win almost for sure because rifened 1s will have a better hit rate dodge and def so less damage per hit a spear rifened vs bs only good hmm idk idk not so sure bout bs win |

Oki let's say this way ^^
Get full refined sword vs sword with good gear with ring+ and shade beads.
Get full refined fist vs fist with good gear with ring+ and shade beads.
Get full refined BS, vs BS with good gear with ring+ and shade beads.
Guess who will win? ^.^"
The one who will be more skilled to get first hit  that is an answer
So not apply to all classes (in pvp, as I said)
Guess why many bs or fist pkers wear junky gear?
1) they don't need better.
2) if they will lose when die, they don't care
But still, that is only my opinion and let's say you are right ^-^,

| Thanks for all the comments guys. Im lvl 88 now and starting to make my tier set II. Before my lvl 40 to 60s cant beat most of the class without my SMKF. Well thats the ugly truth but now things changed with our High damage and nice gears its a different story. If youll read my first post youll understand why we spears need something at our early stage, Arena is not the only battlefield and it cant measure the true skills of a certain class. All Unsafe zones are battlefields, I recall my lvl 50 to 70 time when trying to hunt even 5 levels lower than me can just run from me or the worst part even kill me(that is without using SMKF and relying on our skills). I agree that doing meridian in high level is fast due to huge experience, but what is the difference there if almost all of the players have their meridians and smkf done too. The point is how can we neutralize our weakness during our early level and not just sit and accept that Spears are not for PVP they are for PVE. Well its still a suggestion for those new spears out there gather all your resources try to upgrade your SMKF at early stage but dont forget to PRACTICE. Dont just sit there or grind whole day and wait till ur lvl 80 or 90s. You can have fun and hunt too during this days. |

Sorry but I cannot agree with the two posts before mine.
@Shaider : I find spear a not bad pvper, maybe not the best but it isn't weak on the arena relaying only on it's class skills and not smkf. The guys I mostly lose to are well geared staff-class characters who know what they are doing. I haven't actually fought a bow or a sword so far since i never seen any that are my level. I believe those are good pvp classes and I will have a hard time to win against them.
@MistyGun : With my T2 effect ( regain 8 aggression every 2 seconds ) + Solemn ( regain 10 aggression every 3 seconds [Passive spear skill] ) I hardly have problems with aggression, the bad thing is when fighting a hook though since they have two aggression draining spells. |

Do what i do for when im hunting bs with speed buff on have 1 of your smkf with max range and have a daze skill attached to it so you can stun them from a distance. |

the most range i can get on smkf is 100 right? im not sure if it's 100 points or its 100 point radius range, since i thought the highest range was in 40 point radius (hook, bow)
Do you think i should also add points to cool down, or mp consumption. which of the stun skill is good: smash method or vital point seal?
Can soul beads protect against vital point seal smkf?
thank you for ur help, i hope my spear can catch those other classes that like running alot. |

1. 100 range radius
2. Best SMKFs for a spear - 1 with 40 range and all other points in vital, 1 in cool-down with hand-slap method and maybe 3rd one with only range and smash method( this is just my opinion for best SMKFs )

soul beads only protects from smkf daze if the effect is on if the first hit you take is a smkf daze then it will stun u |

| allow me to set the whole record for how good spear is at PvP... I am a lv 29 staff and not that bad at PKing... i refuse to use smkf cause it requires no skill... just a little exp to make it good... i am constantly owning lv 30+ bs, A&H, other staffs, fans, and sometimes sword users... spears i usually fight people that have some skill so i can have fun with the fight... but spears if they have much skill are very deadly at both low and high lvs... fists just run away at beginning and use their DOT to have u half dead by time u reach them... bows are similar... they stun, run, hit, stun, run, hit and so on... but spears are a good challenge for me =) they are deadly and hit quite high, i may nearly never miss while hitting them but they make up for it... spears are very good PvP and PvE.... dont trash talk em or a spear with skill will pwn u and never let u grind...... |
